Liverpool hotel to host first Marco Pierre White seafood restaurant outside London

The Pullman Liverpool hotel plans to launch the UK’s second Wheeler’s of St. James’ restaurant under the supervision of British chef, restaurateur and television personality Marco Pierre White.

The chef plans to bring Wheeler’s of St. James’s, the world’s oldest fish brand, to Liverpool.

The restaurant, which is due to open in November 2017, will serve 120 covers and will be the second of the Wheeler’s brand to open in the UK and the first outside of the capital.

The TV chef and restaurateur already has one Wheeler’s Oyster Bar & Grill Room in London, which serves oysters, snails, lobster and a range of other amazing fish dishes.

Marco told the Liverpool Guide: “The Wheeler’s brand carries with it certain standards, and certain connotations. It’s about the highest quality of oysters, the freshest seafood and a memorable experience. This is exactly what I want to bring to Liverpool.

“I can see from the success of my Liverpool Steakhouse Bar & Grill that the people of this city have an appetite and a desire for high quality restaurants, and with the amazing location paired with a menu which I take great pride in, locals and tourists alike will find this to their taste.”
