Hospitality brand Locke is to open a second hotel in London next month.
The 113-room Locke at Broken Wharf is situated on the Thames at London’s Millennium Bridge and follows the launch of Leman Locke in Aldgate in 2016. The new addition will take the total portfolio of Locke properties to four.
Designed by Matthew Grzywinski of Grzywinski+Pons, the new property takes the typical Locke approach, with custom designed furniture in each room, ‘aspirational bling’ and textures such as timber, cane and butterscotch upholstery.
There are also kitchen facilities in each room and a co-working space on the ground floor.
Locke at Broken Wharf will also set the stage for two more London openings this year, in Bermondsey and Dalston.
International projects include properties in Dublin, Munich, Berlin, Lisbon and Copenhagen.
The property’s F&B offering will focus on Deli Cat & Sons, a New York-style deli operated by The Initiative.
After the launch of Leman Locke in 2016, Eden Locke in Edinburgh opened in 2017 and Whitworth Locke in Manchester in 2018.
