London design hotel Bankside appoints new director sales


Design-forward hotel, Bankside, has appointed a new director of sales to drive both leisure and corporate bookings.

The hotel, which opened in October 2018, has welcomed Zita Vimi to the team, who will be responsible for leading the sales department and increasing corporate, meetings and events and leisure revenue from domestic and international markets. 

With over 15 years’ of experience within the hospitality industry, Vimi brings with her a wealth of knowledge, joining from her role as director of sales at Le Meridien Barcelona where she led a team of seven.

Moving to London, she joined InterContinental London Park Lane as business development manager responsible mainly for developing leisure sales from different areas of the globe.

Vimi comments: “For me Bankside represents a diverse and creative space where business and leisure guests can cohabit. This makes my role diverse and interesting as it involves driving revenue from corporate bookings as well as leisure sales.”
