London EDITION’s new bar hire packs a Punch


The London EDITION, a boutique hotel created by Ian Schrager in partnership Marriott, has announced the appointment of Rebekkah Dooley as the hotel’s new head of bar communications.

She will head up partnerships for the hotel’s bars and oversee all bar communications, as well as assisting with hosting the Punch Room.

Dooley has worked in the bar industry for 12 years, most notably at Milk and Honey and Callooh Callay where she spent 6 years progressing from reservationist to PR, marketing and events manager.

As Callooh Callay menu designer, Dooley was part of the team awarded World’s Best Cocktail Menu at Tales of the Cocktail 2012, and was nominated for Innovator of the Year in The Imbibe Personality of The Year Awards 2014.

She was also featured in the Cocktail Lovers ‘Leading Ladies of Drinks’ exhibition.

In 2015 she founded The London Sessions, with which she has worked with Sean Muldoon, Steve Schneider, Erik Lorincz, Julio Bermejo and more.

Dooley has also organised events with Trick Dog, Mother’s Ruin, Dead Rabbit, Employees Only and Maison Premiere, and is this year going to New York to do her first event in the USA.

The Punch Room is at the back of the London EDITION, and is a fumed-oak panelled den inspired by the comfort of English country manor hour libraries and 19th century London’s private clubs.

The cocktail bar serves a selection of modern and traditional punches, to guests sat in furnished custom-tufted banquettes in teal velvet, mint green leather tub chair and dark brown leather club chairs.
