Lords of the Manor in the Cotswolds is to open a new fine-dining restaurant on May 20, in a bid to cater for the growing number of long-stay guests.

The privately-owned hotel in Gloucestershire is to launch new restaurant, Atrium at Lords of the Manor next week, with head chef Charles Smith at the helm.

The new formal restaurant will offer a £95 eight-course tasting menu, with space for 14 covers.

The hotel’s Dining Room will offer a more relaxed dining style with a further 40 covers.

“We’re very much looking to opening the new restaurant.” said Michael Obray, the hotel’s general manager: “Many of our customers stay for two nights or more and we’ve listened carefully to their comments. A choice of dining styles is essential and will allow us to broaden our appeal.”

Head chef Charles Smith adds: “Atrium of Lords of the Manor is where the fine dining reputation of this amazing 17th-century Cotswold property will be nurtured and developed, a restaurant that is luxurious, confident and playful.”

The 26-bedroom hotel has recently completed a full refurbishment of its ground floor, including the two restaurants, bar and lounge.
