A new hotel from the Lore Group will open this autumn, situated in the building previously home to Ace Hotel London Shoreditch.

One Hundred Shoreditch will mark the second London property from the Lore Group, joining the Sea Containers London in the capital.

Ace Hotel London Shoreditch closed in 2020 after seven successful years confirming it would not reopen following the government imposed lockdown.

At the time the Lore Group, which manages the building, said a new hotel would open within the space following a refurbishment.

Now the new 258-bedroom hotel will comprise six restaurants and bars, including a seafood restaurant and wine bar, a destination cocktail bar and roof terrace, offering the ‘largest choice of restaurants and bars within one hotel in the area’. There will also be five meetings and events spaces.

David Taylor, Lore Group’s chief operating officer, said: “The opening of our new hotel in Shoreditch reflects the growth and evolution that have taken place over the last 15 years in the area. We will offer something for everyone across our 6 restaurants and bars and 258 tranquil bedrooms, all representing consistently good value.”

Design work on the property is led by Lore Group creative director Jacu Strauss and his team.

Strauss says: “The redesign reflects how Shoreditch has evolved during the last decade with the interiors mirroring the new grown[1]up character of the neighbourhood. In the guest rooms emphasis is placed on calm and comfort, while the restaurant and bar spaces retain the fun and energy for which this part of London is so well known.”

One Hundred Shoreditch will be operated by the Lore Group regional London team who previously transitioned and continue to operate Sea Containers London.

The Lore Group also operates Pulitzer Amsterdam, Riggs Washington DC and newly opened Lyle Washington DC.
