L’oscar London relaunches Baptist restaurant as private events space


Luxury hotel, L’oscar London has relaunched its Baptist restaurant as a private events space. 

Set within the building’s double height Grade II-listed chapel, with a private street entrance, the Baptist can accommodate 150 for a drinks reception and 60 for dinner.

The hotel has also appointed The AOK Events Group as exclusive sales agent for the space as its targets MICE business growth in 2020.

L’oscar London, inspired by Oscar Wilde, is the first Jacques Garcia-designed hotel in London which opened in June 2018. 

It’s F&B spaces are overseen by executive chef Tony Fleming. 

Other event spaces include The Library, which holds 72 for dinner and 100 for drinks and Committee Room which can accommodate 26 boardroom style and 50 for a drinks reception. 

L’oscar also comprises 32 bedrooms and seven suites. 

L’oscar’s general manager, Michel Voight, said “The AOK Events Group have been appointed by luxury 5 star hotel L’oscar to act as their dedicated sales partner for private events. We are delighted that The AOK Events Group will continue to support our Meeting and Events department again in 2020.”
