Low Wood Bay plans for festive finish to £16m renovation project

Low Wood Bay Resort and Spa is to unveil its new look following an ambitious £16m refurbishment this Christmas, in a bid to bring a boost to trading this festive season.

Owners English Lakes Hotels Resorts & Venues is in the midst of an epic renovation, that will see its 133 bedrooms upgraded, plus a new restaurant concept created and the addition of a new luxury spa.

The new health and fitness facilities were officially opened in June, with a new studio, express spa treatment rooms and modernised changing rooms revealed.

The next phase of development will see the restaurant, Blue Smoke on the Bay launch in the coming months, with the complete project due to be finalised in the autumn.

Now Low Wood Bay is starting to push its festive promotions, ahead of its grand launch later this year, and is encouraging guests to visit for Christmas and New Year, with new afternoon tea menus, lake cruises and visits from Santa on the agenda.
