Assetz Capital, established in 2013, aims to provide a fairer lending solution for small businesses and property developers.

Assetz has lent more than £910m to date, and provides funding for commercial properties, housing developments, care homes and purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA).

Stuart Mackenzie of the Dukeside Lodge said: “The purchase and refurbishment process hasn’t been easy and we have faced a number of setbacks along the way, but John and his team at Assetz have been pivotal in helping us get up and running.

“The Dukeside Lodge building and its surroundings are truly exceptional – we’ve put a lot of work into making each room unique, as well as offering guests local knowledge to make their stay as good as it can be. We’re now open for business and our 2020 calendar is filling up fast.”
