Michael Voigt is to take over as general manager at luxury London hotel, The Goring.
Voigt is currently general manager at L’Oscar, which he joined in October 2015, prior to its launch in 2018.
He replaces Stuart Geddes, who left the hotel last year to join The Lanesborough as hotel manager.
Prior to this, he was GM at The Arch in London and held senior positions at The Connaught, One Aldwych and Four Seasons.
Voigt is a Master Innholder, St Julian’s Scholar and a Freeman of The Worshipful Company of Innholders.
Speaking of the appointment, managing director David Morgan Hewitt said: “I have known and followed Michael’s career for some time and know his incredible dedication to leadership and service can only enhance our award winning and much loved hotel. Jeremy and I could not be more delighted to announce this appointment and we all look forward to him joining us”.
The Goring is the only five-star luxury hotel in London that is owned and run by the family that built it, the Goring family.
