leaf HOSPITALITY, a UK hotel management companies for branded and independent hotels, has appointed Mike Magrane as chief operating officer with effect from January 6 2020.
Magrane joins leaf HOSPITALITY from glh, London’s largest hotel owner/operator, where he held the position of operations director, during which time the company opened the first UK Hard Rock Hotel in London, and also re-branded The Amba Hotel Grosvenor.
Magrane previously held various senior positions with Q Hotels for 11 years, which under his leadership, saw The Midland Hotel in Manchester cement a relationship with Michelin-starred chef, Simon Rogan.
In a successful hospitality career that spans over 27 years, Magrane has also worked with Le Meridien, Principal and Forte Hotels.
