Malmaison Hotel du Vin has unveiled the new Malmaison Brighton, on the Marina in the city, following an extensive renovation process that began in April last year.

The hotel has redesigned its bedrooms, while the restaurant has become Malmaison’s signature Chez Mel bar and brasserie, with eccentric interiors, a ‘clubby’ vibe and new bar.

A selection of the bedrooms have private balconies overlooking Brighton Marina, which is one of Europe’s largest.

The hotel introduces its business and events facilities Work+Play to the city also, with five meeting rooms and a capacity to hold events for 8 to 140 people.

Paul Roberts, chief executive officer, Malmaison Hotel du Vin, said, “We’re truly excited to bring Malmaison to Brighton – we feel the city and brand are a perfect pair. The team have worked tirelessly to transform the hotel to create something truly special. Malmaison Brighton really makes a bold statement in the Brighton hotel scene and we are incredibly proud of the transformation.”

Hotel Seattle was taken over in November 2015, as part of a larger acquisition by the Malmaison Hotel du Vin Group of a portfolio of four hotels in the UK. The new addition takes the total number of Malmaison branded hotels in the UK to 14.
