It is one of the oldest hospitality suppliers in the business, but Denny’s Uniforms is aiming to freshen up its corporate look by renaming itself Dennys Brands.
The move is designed to reflect the growing portfolio of the London-based company, which remarkably celebrates its 175th anniversary this year.
The company is best known as one of the biggest suppliers of clothing to the hospitality industry and smart chef wear. Two years ago it was awarded the Royal Warrant.
As well as manufacturing its own Dennys London range, it markets the AFD chefswear, Le Chef Professional and Comfort Grip brands, as well as Soho Knives, which offers a wide range of branded professional kitchen knives.
Recently it added Joseph Alan, a London-based bespoke uniform design and tailoring service, to its offering.
Nick Jubert, managing director of Dennys Brands, said: “The hospitality industry and our business has changed dramatically, however hard work, continued innovation and dedication ensure that Dennys is in great shape going into our 175th year. It seems an appropriate time to announce our latest exciting milestone – the new company name, Dennys Brands.
“Along with sales director, Dominic Green, the staff in London’s Soho and city shops and the Leatherhead HQ and distribution centre, will continue the same concentration of supplying the hospitality market with well priced uniforms from stock.”
