Galgorm Unveils New Spa Attractions as Part of £2 Million Expansion Project 2

Galgorm Spa & Golf Resort has invested £2m into enhancing its Thermal Village and Spa with a variety of a new additions.

Work on the expansion project started in March this year and has now been unveiled as the hotel reopens its doors following the pandemic lockdown.

The development work has seen a new infinity pool created, a Palm House relaxation area with six heated lounges and a new Salt Room.

Galgorm has also installed two group hot tubs and saunas, three private hot tubs and six new riverside cabanas to add to its outside spa offering.

The new spa expansion project is the latest venture in Galgorm’s investment into the resort.

Over the last decade, the estate has undergone a £60m transformation and there are further plans to invest an additional £20m by 2025. As well as protecting all jobs, the development will also see the creation of 40 new jobs throughout the collection.

Colin Johnston, Galgorm Collection managing director, said: “As an internationally renowned luxury resort, we are continually seeking ways to enhance the guest experience, and with the closure of The Resort in March, we had the opportunity to further invest and expand.”

Galgorm Collection has also recently completed the £2.5m first phase at The Rabbit, formerly known as The Templeton.
