Grantley Hall has unveiled a new ‘Alpine-inspired’ winter retreat as it prepares for the seasonal rush this Christmas.
Après at The Orchard will serve new dishes in a newly-styled ‘chalet chic’ space, set underneath a sailcloth marquee, complete with festive décor and Alpine touches.
The new addition is situated on the West Terrace with views towards the River Skell. It will open officially on November 6.
Dishes on the menu include traditional cheese fondue, Black Forrest ham, coppa, Ratte potatoes, cornichons, pickled onions and sourdough; chargrilled hickory smoked sausages; Nidderdale lamb shoulder ragu; wild mushroom flatbread topped with Kidderton Ash cheese and toasted pine nuts.
Grantley Hall in Yorkshire opened in July 2019 after a multi-million pound transformation of the Grade-II listed mansion house spearheaded by owner Valeria Sykes. The hotel comprises 47 bedrooms and a variety of wellness facilities.
