London hotel, The Hoxton in Holborn, is to open a new basement wine bar this month.
Rondo La Cave is a new pop-up space and incubator kitchen situated within the hotel that will launch on September 29.
The new bar is being described as ‘Rondo’s naughty little sister’ and will feature low intervention wines from small independent suppliers, chef residencies and an online store.
In an email sent out to its customer database, Rondo La Cave is also said to be home to ‘London’s biggest selection of bubbles’.
Rondo is The Hoxton Holborn’s in-house restaurant, formerly home to Hubbard and Bell.
It was revamped in 2020, with the hotel bringing in Will Lander of Quality Chop House fame to lead the new venture. Chef Chris Gillard heads the kitchen.
