Suites Hotel & Spa has announced the appointment of a new managing director, Lyndsay Stanistreet-Tyer, as part of the property’s ongoing growth plans.
Stanistreet-Tyer, who has been at the hotel for the last four years as sales and marketing manager, is to take over from her father Peter Tyer to retain the venue as a family-run business.
As part of her promotion, she will now develop strategic plans for the brand moving forward, managing the team and overseeing all operations at the four-star hotel and spa as its nears completion of its six-figure renovation project.
She will work to reposition the hotel as a ‘major player’ in Liverpool’s hospitality market.
Stanistreet-Tyer said: “It’s certainly exciting to be taking the helm at Suites Hotel & Spa at such a turning point for the business. We are currently finalising completion of our refurbishment project which has brought the property firmly up to date and seen all of our standard suites remodelled to create fluidity throughout the whole hotel, and I am proud to be in a position to spearhead our new, more modern direction.
“Although it is all change in some ways for us, the hotel will remain within the family as it has since its establishment.”
Stanistreet-Tyer has previously upheld hospitality roles as group sales & marketing manager at Sleepwell Hotel Group and international sales & marketing manager at ReO Drinks International before taking up position as sales & marketing manager at Suites Hotel & Spa.
She added: “As I begin my new role, my biggest focus will be repositioning the hotel as a major player when it comes to Liverpool’s hospitality destinations. Thanks to our new refurbishment, we are now in a position to offer more to our guests in terms of updated in-room technology, award-winning spa facilities and an innovative conferencing arm to name just a few.”
