St Michaels Resort in Falmouth has appointed Tim Fryer as commercial director, to focus on driving sales and marketing and strengthen the brand’s positioning in the market.
Fryer boasts over 18 years’ experience within the travel and hospitality industry, and prior to joining the resort was country manager UK & France at STA Travel where he was responsible for over 300 people across the UK.
He started his career at STA Travel in 2002 as a sales executive and has since held several positions within the company including marketing director and product trading director.
Fryers comments: “I am delighted to be joining St Michaels Resort and being an integral part of a dynamic team at a very exciting time for both the resort and Cornish tourism. I am also excited to be relocating to Cornwall with my family and can’t wait to embrace the Cornish lifestyle and explore everything it has to offer.”
