New Courthouse Hotel joins Worldhotels prior to launch


Worldhotels has announced the addition of 13 new hotels to its portfolio, with The Courthouse Hotel London and sister property yet to be launched, The Courthouse Hotel Shoreditch, joining the mix.

The new additions are comprised of six hotels in South America and seven in Europe, all signed within the first three months of 2016.

The Courthouse Hotel London is located in the heart of the capital near Oxford Street and consists of 116 bedrooms and 7 suites, a fitness suite, pool and restaurant.

Its sister property, The Courthouse Hotel Shoreditch is scheduled to open to April and has been converted from the former Old Street Magistrates Court and Police Station.

When it launches later this year, it will be home to 120 bedrooms, a 200-seat cinema, rooftop bar and two-lane bowling alley.

Speaking about the new additions to the Worldhotels portfolio, Geoff Andrew, chief operating officer said: “We are excited to welcome these high-quality additions into our group. We are strategically developing our portfolio to add new key destinations and reinforce destinations with high potential.”
