A new culinary director has been appointed to head up the F&B development at Mastcraft Hotels.
The group, which consists of five properties including The Courthouse in Shoreditch, has appointed Preet Tandi as culinary development director, who will focus on creating and designing new ‘multi-cuisine fine-dining and casual-dining concepts’ for the portfolio.
As part of his role, he will bring his ‘signature style’ to the Mastcraft brand, which will kick off with the launch of a new Indian street food concept at The Courthouse Hotel in Soho at the end of 2018.
Tandi boasts experience with the likes of Nobu London, Dinner by Heston and Edwardian Hotels and will now coordinate all chefs across the Mastcraft Hotels group.
Director of Mastcraft Hotels, Girish Sanger, says: “We are thrilled to be working with Preet Tandi – his ideas have shaped some of the most interesting, diverse and ultimately delicious creations our city has seen. Our plans for the new concepts in our hotel portfolio will be very exciting!”
Mastcraft Hotels portfolio comprises five hotels, two Courthouse hotels in Soho and Shoreditch, The Washington in Mayfair, The Bentley in Kensington and Heston Hyde in Hounslow.
