Hotel asset management company Michels & Taylors is acting as advisor to developer Kevin Fawcett, with Brookfield Financial acting as funding advisor.

Developer Fawcett has teased that he hopes to be able to confirm the hotel’s operator in the ‘very near’ future, following a high volume of interest from leading international hotels in the new project.

Hugh Taylor OBE of Michels & Taylor added: “This is all great news for Edinburgh and a huge boost to the local community and for Scotland’s tourism industry. The interested hotel brands are all highly regarded in the industry and I believe that the successful candidate will be a perfect fit for this luxury waterfront development.”
