Crockers Henley is to launch this spring in Henley-on-Thames, marking the opening of a new boutique hotel and restaurant from former chef Luke Garnsworthy.
The new property will build on the success of its sibling, Crockers Tring, which was launched in spring 2018.
Crocker Henley will comprise seven boutique bedrooms in ‘the Quarters’, two 16-seater chef’s tables – The Thames Table and The Gardener Table – led by two different head chefs, Dean Westcar and Iain Dixon respectively.
The Thames Table will serve a seasonal, modern British tasting menu, while The Gardener Table will offer a Pan-Asian tasting experience.
Both will present a 7-course lunch and 12-course dinner incorporating the best produce matched with the each chef’s individual talents.
Diners will be seated at a bespoke table which overlooks the respective dedicated Chef’s Table kitchen.
The Grill will provide a more relaxed drinking and dining destination offering all-day dining, led by head chef Tom Westerland, with dishes roasted over a custom-built charcoal grill.
The bar is overseen by head mixologist Ryan Osnowski, while head of wine is Gemma Aldridge.
Crockers Henley is the transformation of a Grade-II listed building situated on Henley’s Market Place, with the design spearheaded by Ali Hearn Interiors.
Chief executive, Luke Garnsworthy, commented: “We’re incredibly excited about our new home in Henley-on-Thames! After working on this project for more than a year with Ian Churchill (Operations Director), that excitement is reaching fever-pitch as we near our launch date. We couldn’t wish for a more beautiful location in such a wonderful town. The senior team we have put in place is truly a dream come true, and I can’t wait to open our doors to the people of Henley – they’re in for a treat.”
