A new general manager has been announced for Belmond Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons, following the departure of Jan-Paul Kroese last month.
The five-star, two-Michelin star, Raymond Blanc, 32-bedroom hotel in Oxfordshire has appointed Eveline Noort to step into the role in early September, working closely with hotel manager Sandra Mueller who has been holding the fort since Kroese left in July.
Originally from the Netherlands, Noort joins from her position as hotel manager for Le Meridien Piccadilly London, where she has been for the last two years.
Prior to this she worked in Stockholm at the Sheraton, working her way up from front office manager to rooms division manager, before taking on her first hotel manager role at the Aloft Brussels Schuman in early 2014. She spent two years there until moving to London in 2016.
Raymond Blanc OBE commented: “I am truly happy to confirm the appointment of Eveline Noort as our general manager and I very much look forward to working with her. Eveline has a strong sense of passion which I know will mirror our dedication to deliver excellence throughout every aspect of Belmond Le Manoir – I, along with my team, am very excited to welcome her on what I am sure will be a fantastic journey.”
Jan-Paul Kroese announced his departure from Le Manoir last month after three years at the helm, deciding to move his family back to his home country of the Netherlands to care for his ageing father.
