New GM at Sutherland hotel pledges to drive new levels of service under new management

A new general manager has been appointed for Inver Lodge Hotel and Chez Roux restaurant, who is promising to drive new levels of service at the Scottish boutique.

Janet Boyd joins the Lodge with more than 15 years’ experience working around the world, with the likes of IHG and Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group.

She now joins Inver Lodge after three years with operators Inverlochy Castle Management Group (ICMI), which the four-star, 20-bedroom property is also a part of.

ICMI also run Cromlix, Greywalls, Inverlochy Castle and Crossbasket.

Speaking on her new role, Boyd said: “I am excited to join the team at Inver Lodge. Based in the wilds of the Scottish Highlands, this hotel is the ultimate retreat for people looking to de-stress and go off-grid, while being looked after by a professional team.”

Norbert Lieder, managing director of ICMI, commented: “I am delighted to appoint Janet to the role at Inver Lodge and look forward to the positive impact she will brings to the hotel.”
