A new head chef has been appointed at No.15 Great Pulteney in Bath, the flagship property for hoteliers Ian and Christa Taylor.
Oliver Clarke has joined the boutique property from his most recent role as sous chef at Abbey Hotel Bath, which was owned by the Taylors until February this year when they sold the 62-bedroom property to KE Hotels.
He takes over from former head chef Dan Miles, who was appointed in February 2017 shortly after No.15 Great Pulteney opened in December 2016.
Clarke began his career at Bordeaux Quay in Bristol at the age of 23 and has worked at hotels and restaurants across the South West, from Langdon Court in Devon to Beckford Arms in Tisbury.
As part of his new role, he has already introduced a new all-day Bar 15 menu for the hotel’s bar space featuring sharing plates and platters.
“I’m thrilled to join the team at No.15,” says Clarke. “It’s really quirky and different and there’s nowhere else quite like it in Bath. I’m really looking forward to the challenge of building a strong team and new food offering at No.15.”
