New ‘high-end’ £400k restaurant and entertainment space to be created at Perthshire hotel

The Angus Hotel in Blairgowrie, Perthshire is to roll out a £400k refurbishment at one of its events spaces to introduce a new dining and entertainment venue.

The three-star hotel is to transform its Strathmore Suite into a new modern breakfast and carvery area, which will double up as an entertainment space at during the weekends.

The owners of the 90-bedroom hotel and leisure club have appointed award-winning Dundee architects and interior designers, Nicoll Russell Studios, to design the refurbished area, taking inspiration for the contemporary and high end feel from restaurant operators such as Tom’s Kitchen and Drake & Morgan.

The contract for the building work and interior fit-out has been awarded to Caledonia Contracts who are due to start work onsite in early June, with the new space due to be unveiled in late September.

The new and improved suite, which includes an open kitchen and servery area; new bar and ighting and sound systems will also host the hotel’s popular tribute nights.

The spectacular design not only offers a better dining experience for our guests, in terms of choice and environment but, additionally, means our weekend tribute entertainment and function space will also be greatly improved.”
