Crerar Hotels has unveil a new wellness facility at The Isle of Mull Hotel as part of a £3m investment into the property.
The Driftwood Spa will open in June and aim to ‘enhance the group’s wellness offering’, with facilities including a swimming pool, thermal suite, foot spa, Rasul mud chamber and four treatment rooms.
There is also an outdoor hot tub and spa terrace.
The treatment menu has been curated in conjunction with the spa’s product house, Ishga and includes exclusive signature experiences using the organic therapeutic benefits of Scotland’s Hebridean seaweed.
To complement the new spa, the 75-bedroom hotel has introduced a collection of Spa Retreat Suites, all with sea views.
The grounds surrounding the hotel are also being developed, with a full remodelling and landscaping throughout the gardens.
The hotel will be adding a range of outdoor facilities including an ‘enchanted fairy walk’, sea deck dining, and external ‘Wilderness Spa’ featuring a secluded hot tub and sauna due to open in July 2021.
The hotel’s public areas and guest rooms have also been refurbished with a new restaurant and bar being added to the venue’s offering.
Chris Wayne Wills, CEO of Crerar Hotels said: “We are extremely proud to be opening our spectacular new spa and wellness offering at the Isle of Mull Hotel & Spa. With our new development, visitors to the island can now looking forward to enhancing their experience with stylish facilities, personalised organic treatments and a programme of specially curated spa and wellness activities.”
