New spa director brings international experience to luxury Yorkshire hotel

Oulton Hall, the four-star luxury hotel close to Leeds, has announced the appointment of Leigh Mulholland as its new spa director.

Mulholland brings 10 years of experience in the health and beauty industry to the role, having previously worked at One World Spa (formerly Steiner International) where she was sales and revenue manager for the spa and fitness facilities across 28 cruise ships.

Through her career at One World Spa, Leigh gained extensive knowledge of how to manage a successful spa on an international scale, having also spent time based in Sydney and Miami.

She will now oversee the whole of Oulton Hall’s spa and leisure department, managing 30 people and ensuring high level of standards are continued to be met at the hotel.

Commenting on her appointment, Mulholland said: “Oulton Hall is a beautiful property, and I was drawn instantly to this incredible opportunity. It’s a hotel with a reputation for offering top-quality service. I will be utilising my experience from working across the globe to bring best practices to the spa and its facilities, to not only meet guest expectations, but continue to exceed them.

“I am joining a brilliant team and I look forward to further developing my career, alongside helping the hotel to achieve its exciting future plans.”

Oulton Hall’s spa offering includes ESPA body treatments and facials, Jessica manicures and pedicures, hot stone treatments and acupressure. The spa facilities also include an indoor swimming pool, a sauna, steam rooms and a whirlpool.
