New spec tech top of the bill for completed £3m refurb project at Cardiff boutique


The Village Hotel Club in Cardiff has now completed a £3m refurbishment project with new technology being introduced to help streamline check-in.

The hotel has unveiled its new-look 118 bedrooms, with 40 upgraded to club rooms, plus its overhauled meetings and conferencing facility, The Hub.

The public areas have been given a refresh with the reception revamped to include an iPad at check in.

The leisure club is also is benefitting from new changing rooms, studios, new equipment and virtual classes.

Not content with stopping there, the Village Hotel will begin work on an external refurbishment programme in 2017.

Village general manager Simon Chainey said: “When it came to planning this investment programme, we paid close attention to what our guests had been saying and planned all our improvements around what we knew they wanted to see.”
