Luxury linen supplier Tradelinens has praised the talent and dedication of general managers up and down the country following the company’s sponsorship of the recent Boutique Hotelier Personal Service Star Awards.
The company, who came on board for the first time and supported the much-anticipated General Manager of the Year category, said that awards are vital to the industry to recognise and reward people who deliver a ‘truly memorable guest experience.
“What a night we had at this year’s 4th Annual Boutique Hotelier Personal Service Star Awards!” says Catherine Morris, marketing manager at Tradelinens.
The Awards were held on October 17 at Hilton’s Olympia on the first night of the Independent Hotel Show.
The General Manager of the Year category awarded two finalists – with Highly Commended going to Pim Wolfs from Pale Hall Hotel and the Winner announced as Adam Dyke from The Devonshire Arms.
“We were delighted to be sponsors of the General Manager of the Year category, celebrating the talent and success of both the worthy nominees and winners. Awards such as these which recognise and reward those people throughout the hotel operation are vital for acknowledging the talent required to deliver a truly memorable guest experience.”
Joe Molloy, Tradelinens founding director said: “It was an absolute pleasure to be among so many customers, celebrating the success of the nominees and winners on their well-deserved honours. It was certainly a night to be remembered!”
The Boutique Hotelier Personal Service Star Awards saw 11 categories won by outstanding employees from the likes of Mullion Cove Hotel, Harbour Hotel Christchurch, Georgian House Hotel and The Devonshire Arms.
