Norfolk’s Congham Hall refurbishment nears completion

The latest phase of refurbishment at Congham Hall Hotel is nearing completion as the Norfolk boutique gears up to open its bookings from Easter.

A total of 11 of the hotel’s 26 bedrooms are being redecorated in keeping with the rest of the hotel, with five of the new-look rooms ready to book from Easter, three available at the end of April and the final three, including one suite, refurbished in January 2017.

The changes are as a result of the property coming under new management who came on board and relaunched the hotel in 2013.

Feature wallpapers by Jane Churchill now adorn the walls with Farrow & Ball and Little Green paint, fabrics by Sanderson and Zoffany, Wilton carpets and lights supplied by Jim Lawrence Lighting.

The highlight is Dandelion, a new honeymoon suite with its own sitting room and private balcony overlooking the parkland.

The Writing Room, which is available for meetings, events, private dinners and wedding celebrations, has also been redesigned.
