Oddfellows On The Park gears up to launch with recruitment drive for 50 new faces


Oddfellows On The Park is gearing up to open its doors in March and has now launched a recruitment campaign to find 50 new faces to complete its team.

The new addition to the Oddfellows portfolio, which currently consists of the flagship Oddfellows in Chester, will be home to 22 bedrooms, The Galloping Major restaurant, The Stud Room bar, salon dé beauté and event spaces when it opens in just a few months’ time.

The property will be the result of a 15-month long restoration of the Victorian Bruntwood Hall in Cheadle and will be the only hotel in the UK outside of London to be welcomed into the global Design Hotels consortium.

Now the new boutique is on the hunt for 50 new team members with ‘exceptional hospitality talent’ to make up the new work force.

Catherine Glynn, HR manager and orchestrator of the hotel’s recruitment process, commented: “The recruitment drive will run through all of the departments of the hotel from housekeeping, to chefs and from receptionists to events & occasions team, and whilst hotel experience is great – it’s the people who count. We will have a team with bags of personality who understand our market, have excellent service standards and can give our guests a wonderful, authentic experience.”

Jonathan Slater, who heads up Oddfellows Hotels said: “The time to join Oddfellows is now. We are at the beginning of our journey and looking for a strong team to join the ride.
