Set up by entrepreneur Gary Molloy in 2017, Leisure Resorts has grown over the last two years with 160 employees, offering high-end resorts with lodges for sale and holiday rental.

The latest addition to the company’s sites has been Ullswater Heights near Newbiggin on the borders of the Lake District, which opened in July 2019, also with its own on-site restaurant.

Scott Steedman, F&B manager for Rivers Edge, said “We’d like to thank everybody for coming to the launch of the restaurant and all our staff for their hard work getting this fantastic facility ready for our guests. Our resort really is the perfect base for unforgettable holidays and this restaurant will make staying here more convenient and relaxing than ever.”
