Palé Hall, a five-star 18-bedroom property in North Wales, has bolstered its kitchen team with the appointment of a new head pastry chef.
The hotel has confirmed that Adam Cleal is rejoining the business as head pastry chef. Cleal’s appointment marks his return to Palé Hall following his work with the hotel in September 2016 to help with its launch.
Cleal honed his patisserie skills at two-Michelin-starred Gidleigh Park under the helm of Michael Caines in 2014. Following this, he worked at Lympstone Manor, Devon before being invited to return to Palé Hall to head up the pastry section.
Owned by Alan and Angela Harper, Palé Hall is located on the edge of Snowdonia National Park offering an extensive menu of delectable cuisine and a vast variety of wines.
General manager, Harry Shepherd, said: “[Cleal] played a key part within our launch team and we hope his return to the hotel in this new role will help raise the bar for pastry offerings at Palé Hall even higher. We can’t wait to see what Adam has planned for our new afternoon tea menu.”
