The Singapore-based Pan Pacific Hotels Group has announced five senior appointments for its first London opening.
The group’s first European hotel will be near Liverpool Street Station, in London’s new One Bishopgate Plaza tower. The 237-room hotel is slated to open in autumn 2020.
Overseeing the opening and ongoing management of the hotel will be the five new appointments.
Anne Golden will act as general manager. She will focus on property operations, business development, brand positioning and revenue management.
Director of marketing communications Michelle Whittemore previously worked in a similar capacity at the 283-bedroom Corinthia Hotel London.
She commented: “It is my goal to launch and strengthen the awareness of the Pan Pacific Hotels Group in Europe and to increase value to our London property through highly targeted performance-driven marketing activities.”
Kate Ruddick will be director of sales, while Claire Gilbertson will be director of revenue, and Jennifer Chu finance director.
Pan Pacific is owned by Singapore’s UOL Group Limited. It manages nearly 50 hotels, resorts and serviced suites.
