Park House Hotel and Spa has announced the appointment of Mark Yates as its new general manager, replacing Sarah Stacey.

The independent, 21-bedroom luxury country house hotel and spa in West Sussex welcomes Yates from his position as general manager with the Harbour Hotels Group.

He also boasts experience at the likes of Gravetye Manor, in his first general manager position, Ashdown Park Hotel and the Atlantic Jersey, while he also had a brief stint running his own hotel management company, Edward Brook.

Originally the family home of the O’Brien family, who now run the property as a the hotel, the building was transformed into a luxury country house and now Yates will head up a team of 50 members of staff who look after the hotel, spa and ten acres of garden and grounds.
