Polurrian Bay Hotel to rebrand and reopen this April

Cornwall’s Polurrian Bay Hotel is to reopen this April as Polurrian on The Lizard hotel following an extensive refurbishment.

The hotel, which is owned Halcyon Hotels & Resorts, will reopen after giving its 41 bedrooms, restaurant and public spaces an update with new interiors and introducing a new bar.

The restaurant now features a Gozney wood fired oven and the guest spaces include chill out areas with retro seating and customised waltzer.

Four, three-bedroom, two bathroom, seaside villas have also been introduced to the offering.

A programme of wellbeing activities will be on offer, including use of the cliff-top tennis court and outdoor pool, as well as kayaking, coasterring, paddle boarding and surfing.

The woodfired oven will produce hand-stretched pizzas alongside the new menu, with dishes such as tapas starters, locally caught fish and desserts.

The Polurrian on The Lizard hotel is also home to an Elemis spa and health club, and ‘white space’ events area.
