Pride of Britain Hotels has welcomed three new Scottish members to its 50-strong collection of luxury properties across the UK and Channel Islands.
The Fife Arms in Braemar, Ness Walk in Inverness and Fingal Leith in Edinburgh have all joined the hotel consortium to help ‘further strengthen’ its contingent of hotels in Scotland.
The Fife Arms opened in January 2019 after a much-anticipated renovation of the former Victorian coaching inn spearheaded by owners Iwan and Manuela Wirth.
The hotel has 46 bedrooms each dedicated to a local place, person, event or theme and also comprises the Clunie Dining Room overseen by executive chef Tim Kensett.
Fingal is a luxury floating yacht which is permanently berthed in the port of Leith. It opened in January 2019 and is owned and operated by The Royal Yacht Britannia team. There are 23 luxury cabins, plus The Lighthouse Restaurant & Bar.
The five-star Ness Walk is a restored 19th century house, comprising 47 bedrooms and décor inspired by Scotland’s scenery.
Peter Hancock, chief executive, Pride of Britain Hotels, says: “We are delighted to welcome three new Scottish members to the Pride of Britain collection of 50 hotels. All three properties are distinctly different and further strengthen our contingent of luxury Scottish establishments.”
