Principal Edinburgh Charlotte Square signs off on refurbishment with new spa launch

The Principal Edinburgh Charlotte Square has now launched its new spa and health club, with marks the end of the property’s recent multimillion restoration.

The new addition is home to a ‘mood lit’ 12m pool, thermal area including sauna and steam room, three treatment rooms, and a new gym.

The new spa will be the first spa in Scotland to offer treatments using Oskia, the British range of organic beauty products, while ishga treatments, which use Scottish ingredients from the sea, will also be on offer.

The spa completes The Principal Edinburgh Charlotte’s recent multi-million restoration and refurbishment which includes bedrooms and suites inspired by the ‘golden age of travel’.

Principal touch points have also been added such as signature toiletries, a red bedside telephone, tuck box of treats and a vintage post box.

Johan Scheepers, general manager at The Principal Edinburgh Charlotte Square said: “The new Spa at The Principal is the final piece of the jigsaw and marks the completion of our beautiful new hotel. We’re excited to see everything come together and believe the Spa has something different to offer, both for hotel guests and for Edinburgh locals. We offer bespoke, flexible packages, and our opening hours mean the spa and health club is accessible all week, mornings, afternoons and evenings so perfect for corporate memberships.”
