Principal Hotel Company sells off Wychwood Park Hotel for £8m


Principal Hotel Company has sold Wychwood Park Hotel and Golf Course to Mokan Hotels Company off a guide price in excess of £8m.

The 108-bedroom Cheshire hotel, situated near Crewe and set in 200 acres, will managed by Legacy Hotels & Resorts as part of the branded and independent portfolio of hotels.

The acquisition makes Legacy’s fourth takeover in eight weeks, with Crabwall Hotel & Spa, also in Cheshire, a 200 bedroom hotel development project in Reading, and the management of the Hilton Garden Inn at the Stadium of Light, Sunderland, coming into the fold.

Wychwood Park Hotel is a four-star property with 108 bedrooms, conference and events facilities, as well as an 18-hole golf course with clubhouse.

Wychwood Park Golf Course is a European PGA Tour-standard course.
