Private investor bids over guide price for Wiltshire boutique hotel

Highworth Hotel

A private investor has snapped up a popular hotel in Wiltshire, after bidding over the asking price of £800,000.

The freehold for The Highworth Hotel in Highworth has been sold on behalf of Newbury-based conglomerate BDZ Holdings by Fleurets, who marketed the property.

BDZ Holdings, with interests in a diverse range of businesses from property to hairdressing, decided to sell the hotel after a desire to expand the portfolio into new markets.

The Highworth Hotel is a Georgian town house hotel located in the market town of Highworth. The property consists of 10 bedrooms and possesses a number of period features throughout, including a front elevation.
