Five-star luxury London property The Athenaeum Hotel & Residences has unveiled its new look following an ‘intense and comprehensive renovation’ led by iconic designer Martin Hulbert.
The hotel has given all its ten floors a revamp, with 134 new bedrooms, 10 new suites and penthouse members-style club introduced.
The View is a new concept for the Athenaeum and has been transformed from the former Penthouse Suite into a new private members club for hotel guests.
The Athenaeum is also home to the Michelin-starred Galvin restaurant, with the hotel’s bar also being given a refreshed look.
New artwork, inspired by local London landmark, has also been brought in.
Commenting on the re-launch Athenaeum Hotel & Residences’ general manager Bernard Murphy said: “We have breathed new life into the art deco walls of The Athenaeum, but respectfully retained all of the English quirks and oddities that made her great. We want guests to rediscover The Athenaeum – our restaurant, created by Michelin-starred Galvin brothers, our award-winning bar team – and all the hidden treasures of Mayfair.”
