Leathes Head Hotel has appointed a new restaurant manager who joins his post from fellow Lakes boutique, The Ryebeck.
The hotel, which is located in Borrowdale Valley near Keswick, has welcomed French native Kevin Ricou to head up its newly-renovated restaurant.
Ricou has worked in the UK for seven years and brings with his experience at the likes of Holbeck Ghyll and more recently The Ryebeck in Bowness-on-Windermere.
He joins The Leathes Head Hotel just as the property launches its new restaurant after an extensive refurbishment that took place during the winter.
The hotel’s 2 AA Rosette restaurant is headed up by chef Noel Breaks.
Kevin Ricou, restaurant manager at the Leathes Head says: “My appointment at The Leathes Head Hotel is such a fantastic and exciting opportunity and I look forward to learning so much from working with our head chef Noel and the rest of the team to deliver a first-class dining experience situated in the heart of the Lake District.”
Laura Dadulak, hotel manager at The Leathes Head Hotel says: “Having previously worked with Kevin Ricou at Holbeck Ghyll, I am very excited to be working once again with such an expert in his field and look forward to bringing a whole new dining experience to the heart of the Borrowdale Valley. We have lots planned in 2018 to make the guest experience a truly memorable one, and this new appointment is crucial to the high level of service we strive to deliver.”
