The winner of the Restaurant Manager of the Year accolade was Leni Miras from The Beaumont.
As well as her role as restaurant manager, Leni is in charge of setting the standards of service and ensuring this is communicated and explained to every team member in the F&B operation.
Her pre-service briefings are always detailed and precise – focusing on guest profile knowledge, guest experience and team work.
Each week, she creates a Briefing Points Overview document for circulation, which highlights new standards as well existing ones; explains pieces of operating equipment and how they should be used; describes changes to any dishes.
