Restaurateur brothers have taken on the tenancy of a hotel in Stirling to relaunch their dining business in the city.

Graham + Sibbald spearheaded the deal that has seen former bank building, 78 Upper Craigs let to Adam and Conner Binnie on a ten-year lease following a short marketing period.

The family used to sub-lease the restaurant at Callander House, called Canada Wood, but were evicted this spring.

Now they will set about transforming the Georgian property into a new restaurant called Fletchers and will be the first dining establishment in Stirling for the family.

Peter Seymour, head of hotel + leisure at Graham + Sibbald, says: “this is excellent for the local area to have such a fine operator taking on one of Stirling’s most prominent sites. We wish the family the very best in the future and hope that the two sons are as successful here as they have been elsewhere. This will in no doubt enhance the food and beverage offering within Stirling and we wish them all the best.”

Adam Binnie said: “We are delighted to be opening our first restaurant in such an iconic location in Stirling. After spending most of our lives working for our family businesses so it is exciting to finally be opening our first place as brothers.”
