Foodie restaurateurs in Herefordshire are gearing up to open a new corporate events venue.
Husband and wife Joe and Keeley Evans run Green Cow Kitchens on Whitbourne Estate and are now pumping £2.5m into the development of Crumplebury, the new exclusive use venue due to open in October.
The project is half-way through construction and has already been receiving bookings for end of year meetings this autumn and winter.
Joe Evans, managing director and founder of Crumplebury, said: “Long gone are the days of stuffy meeting rooms and stale biscuits – we’re creating a truly imaginative, creative and adventurous space for businesses to host their conferences and meetings – we’ve not seen anywhere else like it in the country!”
Green Cow Kitchens was founded in 2012 after Joe and Keeley renovated an old pigsty into the family restaurant.
All food is reared on the farm and the tasting menu at Green Cow Kitchens remains seasonal through the year with chefs foraging for wild garlic, hedgerow berries and fruit. Local suppliers are used to source vegetables.
