The Personal Service Star Awards awarded accolades to the top employees in nine roles, including Bar Manager of the Year, Spa Manager of the Year and Concierge of the Year.

Winners (scroll down for full list) were invited on stage to collect their awards and soak up applause and cheers for their work.

The Personal Service Star Awards — launched to coincide with Boutique Hotelier magazine’s first birthday — were created to pay tribute to the most successful, promising and innovative employees working tirelessly to give guests the best experience possible.

The event was made possible by support from key partners, including Mitre Linen, Duck Island, Gilchrist & Soames, BC Softwear, IDeaS, Corby of Windsor and the Independent Hotel Show.

Zoe Monk, Editor of Boutique Hotelier, said: "Our Awards were such an exciting and enjoyable night and it was fantastic to see members of the industry celebrated in the way they deserve.

“Throughout the process, the industry has shown huge enthusiasm for awards that recognise the huge efforts of exceptional hotel staff, and we are confident we gave them a great evening.

"We would like to thank all our sponsors who are supporting these awards. These companies recognise that the boutique hotel industry would not function without the hard work and personal service delivered by legions of boutique hotel employees."
