Rockliffe’s new spa garden to welcome summer with Ibiza-inspired evening sessions

The spa at Rockliffe Hall in Darlington is gearing up to a launch a new experience over the summer, due to start on June 3.

The boutique hotel’s new Spa Garden will host a series of Ibiza-inspired Summer Sessions on the first Friday of every month, where guests will be encouraged to make the most of the luxury facilities, which include an outdoor infinity pool, Jacuzzi, fire pit and glass-fronted sauna.

The Spa Garden has been enjoying mammoth success since its launch last autumn and now the hotel is hoping to attract even more guests when the sessions officially start in June and if the British weather plays ball.

Guests to the Summer Sessions will enjoy a welcome drink on arrival and given complimentary robes and slippers before heading to the Spa Garden, where a special music mix will be playing and a range of canapés will be served.

Two spa butlers will also be on hand throughout the evening to take orders.

Once the sun goes down, guests can move inside to Rockliffe’s 50,000 square foot indoor spa and then stay on until 10pm.

Guests can also upgrade their experience to include a meal in the Brasserie to finish their evening.

Alistair Bramwell, spa operations manager, said: “Since we launched the Spa Garden last autumn it has proven hugely popular with our guests, as an enhancement to our fabulous spa. It’s such a wonderful space in which to relax, unwind and catch up with friends and loved ones so we thought, as we move towards our first full summer of having the Spa Garden, now is the perfect time to hold special events exclusively in there.”
