The Shankly Hotel in Liverpool is to launch a new rooftop glamping site this July.
Hospitality and property development group, Signature Living will open the urban glamping site on July 6 which will blend a posh camping experience with a ‘cosmopolitan city-centre vibe’ in the city.
Situated above the Eden rooftop, the space will be home to luxury tipis, Jacuzzis, infinity pools, 32-inch TV screens and a Bluetooth surround sound system and targeted towards those looking to host a unique private party.
Each tipi will be able to host six guests, with designer bedding and hotel-style interiors.
Founder of Signature Living, Lawrence Kenwright said: “We are really excited to be bringing luxury glamping to Liverpool this summer. Signature Living is known for doing things differently – tipis at the Eden rooftop garden is certainly something different. Nowhere else will people be able to go camping amidst the city’s tallest buildings with incredible views of our skyline. This is not only going to be popular in Liverpool, I am sure this unique concept will also attract even more visitors to the city.”
The Shankly Hotel opened in 2015 to wide acclaim. The hotel is inspired by football star Bill Shankly, who was regarded as one of Britain’s greatest football managers.
Signature Living also operates 30 James Street and the soon-to-launch second Shankly hotel in Preston’s Old Post Office later this year.
