Members of the public can nominate anyone working for the NHS or they can nominate themselves by visiting sawdays.co.uk/holidays-for-good.

Recipients of the holidays and vouchers will be drawn at random on 2 June 2020.

“Having watched the events unfold over the last few weeks, there is one group of people that stand out as the true heroes of this pandemic, the frontline staff of the NHS who are risking their own lives every day to save those of others, and we wanted to find a way that we, as a travel company, can support them. Inspired by Sawday’s and Canopy & Stars owners who have already started donating stays and holidays to those working on the frontline, we decided to launch #holidaysforgood,” says Mike Bevens, managing director of Sawday’s and Canopy & Stars.

Sawday’s have spent over 25 years curating a collection of hand-picked B&Bs, hotels, inns and self-catering places across the UK & Europe.

Sister company, Canopy & Stars inspects and selects the most inspiring places to stay in the great outdoors, with over 700 accommodation options available.

The Sawday’s group are majority employee-owned and part-owned by a charitable trust that donates to projects and organisations dedicated to improving the relationship between travel and the environment.
